In the past few years the Dubai metro Ramadan timings have not been any different to the standard timings and this year is no exception.
Although there are changes to the customer service centre operating hours, this is not reflected in public transport which operates as usual.
There are also no changes to the service timings of the tram which are as per normal.
The standard operating hours of the Dubai Metro are as follows:
Red Line & Green Line Stations:
Monday – Thursday: 05:00 am – 00:00 midnight.
Friday 05:00 am – 1:00 am (next day).
Saturday 05:00 am – 00:00 midnight.
Sunday 08:00 am – 00:00 midnight.
Ramadan is expected to start on the evening of Sunday 10th March 2024, with the first full day of Ramadan being on Monday 11th March. It is expected to end on Tuesday 9th April 2024.
Visitors are still welcome to Dubai during Ramadan, however, if you are a non-Muslim visitor to Dubai then you are expected to be respectful towards those who are observing Ramadan by not eating, drinking or smoking in public. It is fine to do all of these things in the confines of your hotel though.
The Dubai Metro already has rules in place to say that you cannot eat and drink on the Metro anyway, so that is not changed.
