The RTA have announced that the Red Line will run at different timings on 7 consecutive Fridays from 31st January 2020 until 13th March 2020.
The Red Line will start operations on these Fridays at 2pm instead of the normal time of 10am although the RTA does say that “During the Red Line affected hours, alternative transport services will be provided at all major stations.”
Services on the Green Line remain unaffected and will start at 10am as per usual.
Services will also finish at 1am on both the Red and the Green Line as per usual.
The change in services is to enable work to be carried out so that the extension to the Red Line for Expo 2020 is completed on time.
