The RTA have announced that GGICO metro station is to be renamed.
The change is effective from 14th April 2025 and it will be changed to Al Garhoud Metro Station which reflects the area in which it is located.
The announcement was made on the RTA’s twitter/X account as follows:
The station is located between Deira City Centre and Airport Terminal 1.
