Dubai Metro ticket prices are very cheap compared to a lot of metros around the world. They have only been increased once since the metro started in 2009.
Ticket prices depend on what type of Nol card you have and which section of the train you wish to travel in.
You can either buy a red nol card (which is like a paper ticket) – most useful if you are a tourist and only want to take a few trips, or if you want to buy a one day ticket. Or you can buy a silver or gold nol card. The silver nol card is for the standard fares for travel in the main carriages. The gold nol card is for a special carriage at one end of the train that has nicer seats and is generally more comfortable. Those ticket prices are double the standard silver fare.
You can also have personalised nol cards if you are a resident of the UAE and these include cards for students and senior citizens as well as people of determination.
Ticket prices are very affordable and tickets can be paid for at the ticket offices using cash or card.
The Dubai Metro ticket prices for travel on the Dubai Metro, Tram and Buses depend on how many zones you travel through, as follows:

Season Tickets
Season tickets can be purchased on a silver nol up to one week. Anything above that needs to be purchased on a personalised nol card which you need to apply for. Dubai Metro season ticket prices are as follows.
