The Dubai Metro runs 7 days a week but with different timings depending on the day – check out the Dubai Metro Timings below:
Monday – the metro is open from 5am until midnight
Tuesday – the metro is open from 5am until midnight
Wednesday – the metro is open from 5am until midnight
Thursday – the metro is open from 5am until midnight
Friday – the metro is open from 5am until 1am the next day
Saturday – the metro is open from 5am until midnight
Sunday – the metro is open from 8am until midnight.
The red and green lines both have the same operating hours at present but it is possible this might change on special occasions or public holidays.
These are the standard timings for the Dubai Metro but when there is a public holiday these timings can change. Check out any recent posts about timings changes to see You can find posts about public holidays here. Often the metro is open for longer during public holidays and the RTA will announce these changes shortly beforehand.
One thing to note though is that the timings shown for closing of the metro mean that that is when the system closes down, so if you are looking to get the last train from one end of the line to the other you will need to check last train timings. For example, if you are at Expo 2020 station and you want to get to Centerpoint then the last train goes at around 22:45, allowing the time it takes to get to Centrepoint, which is approximately one hour and 15 minutes. Likewise, it takes around 50 minutes to get from one end of the green line to another, so allow enough time to get the last train.
Also, for the first trains out, the timing of 5am or 8am refers to the first train leaving certain stations – these are: Centrepoint, Al Rigga, Emirates Towers, equiti and DMCC on the red line and Etisalat, Stadium, Union and Burjuman on the green line.
The timings of the first and last trains can change but here is the relevant information currently which can also be found on the RTA website
