Al Khail Metro Station Renamed

The RTA announced on 18th March 2025 that Al Khail metro station has been renamed Al Fardan Exchange Metro Station.

Branding is ongoing for the metro station

The name change will be reflected on signage and digital branding from April onwards, with the final changes being updated by June 2025.

The RTA often changes the names of metro stations depending on who has bid for that station name. The new branding takes effect for a number of years, depending on how long the company has signed up for.

There have been a number of changes in recent years and stations will continue to change names. Check out the Dubai Metro Map for the latest update. We endeavour to keep the map up to date as much as possible.

Al Khail station is positioned between Dubai Internet City station and Sobha Realty station.
