The RTA has announced that the Dubai Metro red line hours will be extended on Monday 27th January to accommodate people leaving the Green Day concert at Expo 2020.
The scheduled close time for Dubai Metro red line on a Monday night is midnight. The RTA have announced that the last train on Monday 27th January for the evening of the concert is 00:05. However, the last train actually normally leaves Expo 2020 at 22:47 (check the timetables for more information). This means that the last train on 27th will actually leave over an hour later than it would on a normal Monday night, giving concert-goers more time to get home from the venue.
Green Day will perform for the first time in the Middle East when they take to the stage at Dubai’s Expo City in a bespoke built 30,000 capacity open-air concert venue. The doors open at 5pm and they are being supported by The Offspring. At the time of writing there are still tickets available for the event which can be purchased from Platinum List.
